These investments were supported by funding from the Regional Development Program and the Ontario Together Fund. Furthermore, Ontario participated in successful trade missions to promote key sectors like automotive, technology, and manufacturing in the United States and Mexico, solidifying the province’s position as an attractive destination for international businesses.

Ontario’s strategy for trade with the United States also saw progress with the finalization of a new Memorandum of Understanding with Indiana to enhance trade and investments between the two regions. Minister Fedeli reiterated the government’s commitment to creating opportunities for people and businesses today while building a strong economy for future generations is evident through initiatives like connecting Ontario businesses to the global marketplace.
